Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage sourcing and procurement of critical electronic components, power modules, PCBs, and related assemblies.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop a robust vendor base for local and global sourcing.
- Lead cost negotiations and establish strategic supplier partnerships.
- Ensure on-time availability of materials while optimizing inventory levels.
- Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams to align supply chain plans with project timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction, lead time optimization, and supplier quality.
- Manage import/export compliance, documentation, and liaison with freight forwarders and customs agents.
- Source directly from China / Japan / Taiwan / EU or what the case might be. Develop teams there as required.
**Key Requirements **
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering. MBA in Supply
- Chain/Operations Management is an advantage.
- Experience: 7–13 years in supply chain management, preferably in power electronics, electrical equipment, or high-tech manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing electronic components, semiconductors, and specialized electrical parts.
- Proven experience in vendor development and contract negotiations.
- Good understanding of import/export regulations and global sourcing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
