Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive customer acquisition for our B2B SaaS products in the transfer policy domain. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SaaS marketing, excellent execution skills, and a proven track record of driving growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and ultimately contribute to the company's revenue goals.

Work Hours: To support our global operations, this role requires overlapping with U.S. hours for at least half the day (2 PM - 10 PM IST / 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM ET).

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create and implement integrated marketing plans encompassing digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, webinars, and industry events to achieve business objectives.
  2. Lead Generation and Management: Design and execute campaigns focused on generating high-quality leads for the sales team. Implement lead nurturing strategies to convert prospects into customers.
  3. Content Marketing: Oversee the creation of compelling and valuable content (blog posts, white papers, case studies, webinars, infographics) that resonates with our target audience and establishes us as a thought leader in the transfer policy space.
  4. Digital Marketing: Manage and optimize our online presence through SEO/SEM, social media marketing, paid advertising, and website optimization to drive traffic and conversions.
  5. Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns for lead nurturing, product updates, and customer engagement.
  6. Brand Building and Awareness: Work to enhance brand visibility and recognition within the target market. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
  7. Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
  8. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze key marketing metrics (e.g., website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, ROI) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team.
  9. Collaboration with Sales and Product Teams: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and provide them with the necessary tools and resources. Collaborate with the product team to understand product updates and effectively communicate their value proposition to the market.
  10. Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.
  11. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and vendors as needed.

Requirements:

  1. MBA in Marketing or a related field from IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, or any other top-tier IIM.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in a marketing role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  3. Strong understanding of SaaS marketing principles, lead generation strategies, and digital marketing best practices.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
  5. Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and report on marketing performance.
  6. Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Bonus Points:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from an IIT.
  2. Prior experience working in a startup environment and demonstrated success in building marketing functions from the ground up.
  3. Experience marketing HR technology or solutions related to employee mobility or talent management.
