Summary:
As a Senior Quality Automation Engineer II, you will help us achieve our mission of enabling student success through adaptive learning and placing actionable data in the hands of teachers through our i-Ready platform. You will be working directly on an agile team to help ensure each release of i-Ready’s products achieves the level of quality expected of our products and services. You will be leveraging your insights and experiences to provide guidance to your team members.
Full-Stack QA experience including front-end/UI/cross-browser, API, back-end and Database Strong DB/SQL, knowledge in various joins, complex SQL scripts Comprehension and experience in complex business rule testing Experience in test automation, such as JS/Java based automation and API automation tools and frameworks, Playwright and Selenium would be a plus A team player, strong collaboration and communication skills

Possesses a strong ability to comprehend and explain complex systems and ability to understand how changes in one area can affect other parts of the system.
A solid understanding of how to debug or troubleshoot any software issue leveraging a depth of knowledge working with HTTP, HTML, CSS, SQL, command line interfaces, and web services is expected.
Can articulate a software issue including the situations it does and does not occur in.
Can develop in more than one coding language to an Intermediate level of competency.
Possesses the ability to develop SQL scripts to an Intermediate level of competency.
Ability to teach other team members so they learn what it takes to grow into a Senior as well.
Can find creative and elusive defects throughout the system under test.
Has a novice to intermediate knowledge of how to test for WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliance.
Required Education and Experience: 1. Combination of education and industry experience amounting to 7 years of experience software testing.
